Stitching the Dory Together

Here you can see the oarling as I am starting to stitch it together with wire. First I had to cut the wire into appropriate lenths, about six inches long. Then I aligned the panels, pushed the wire through, and twited it with plyers. I started off leaving them all a bit loose. Then I went around an tightened them up so that the bottom came together at the etched line on the side panels.

This wire stitching process take awhile. But you want to get it correct, or you boat might come out funny looking. You can see I have not yet wired in the transom.
