Scarfing the plywood panels

Here I have layered my plywood panels on top of each other to create the scarf joints. Each panel is marked, then clamped on top of each other. It saves time to make many of the scarf cuts at one time. I used a small light weight Bosch power plane to take most of the material away on the scarf joint. There are a number of different scarf cutting tools you can use to do this. This worked pretty good. But you have to be careful. You could destroy some expense wood pretty quick this way. I finished the scarfs with a very sharp hand planer, and then a long sanding block.
